LCG began offering implemented consulting services in 2012 to meet our clients’ growing needs. This is often also referred to as:

 Discretionary consulting services,
Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (“OCIO”) services,
 Fiduciary management outsourcing, or
 3(38) investment manager.

The purpose of using LCG in this capacity is to leverage our investment processes and experience with asset allocation and manager selection resulting in a more streamlined, dynamic management process. In an implemented consulting relationship, clients give LCG the authority to rebalance the portfolio asset allocation, hire/fire investment managers, and execute transactions within pre-determined investment guidelines.

LCG’s Investment Committee is responsible for overseeing the implemented consulting services. The role of LCG’s Investment Committee is to incorporate the collective wisdom and investment ideas of the firm and efficiently implement them for discretionary client portfolios. The Consultant assigned to the client works with LCG’s Investment Committee to customize a portfolio suitable for the client’s unique needs, goals, and objectives. The Consultant also regularly reviews and monitors the client’s portfolio with LCG’s Investment Committee to adapt the portfolio to changing market conditions and client needs.
