Mr. Johnson joined LCG in 1989.  He is Chief Executive Officer as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors.  In addition to overseeing the firm’s strategy, client satisfaction, and growth, Ed works with several major corporate, foundation, family office, and educational clients.  Taking a heavily involved role in manager due diligence and alternative asset class research, he also chairs the Investment Committee and serves on the Risk Management Committee.

Ed has been Chief Executive Officer since 2004 when the Board of Directors elected to expand his responsibilities.  In 2001, the Board appointed him as President. Ed moved to Georgia to become LCG’s Atlanta Practice Leader in 1993.  Prior to joining LCG, Ed was President of a Dallas-based commercial real estate investment firm.

He has held leadership roles in several community organizations.  Currently, Ed serves on the Investment Committee of Cistercian Preparatory School in Irving, Texas and the Board of Trustees of Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School.

Ed earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and studied international economics at the University of Notre Dame in London, England.

Mr. Challen joined LCG Associates in 2009 and currently serves as President. James was appointed to President in 2023 by the firm’s Board of Directors. He is also a member of LCG’s Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee. As President, James is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategy, client satisfaction, and growth. In addition to James’ management responsibilities, he conducts capital market and asset class research and leads a limited number of educational, foundation, and family office client relationships.

Prior to this role, James was a Senior Vice President, Senior Consultant at LCG.

Before joining the firm, James held various roles at Morgan Keegan & Company.

James is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder. James graduated with a B.S. in Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado.

Ms. Chotiner joined LCG in 2007 and is Chief Operating Officer. She is a member of the Board of Directors. Claire oversees the firm’s business operations. In addition to her management responsibilities, Claire works with a limited number of clients as well as conducts capital market and asset class research. She is Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion as well as Technology Committees. Prior to serving in this role, Claire was a Senior Consultant. She started her career with LCG as an Investment Analyst.

Claire was previously with Donaldson & Co. as a Client Service / Marketing Representative. She was responsible for providing client service for the Midwest and East Coast as well as developing new business opportunities. Before that role, Claire was a Sales Assistant at Donaldson & Co. where she supported the sales team through researching prospects, writing requests for proposals, and working on various projects. Claire began her career at Donaldson & Co. as a Reconciliation Representative.

Claire is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. She is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) Charterholder. Claire graduated magna cum laude from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. In her time away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Mrs. Stiles joined LCG in 2007 and is the Chief Compliance Officer.  She also is a member of the Board of Directors.  Amber’s responsibilities include the overall administration of the compliance function along with managing and directing LCG’s compliance program, including operational due diligence on investment managers.

Amber is a member of the Georgia Bar. She obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Georgia (“UGA”) and was the Secretary for the Black Law Students Association during her second year.  Amber interned at the Western Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office while in law school and was responsible for gathering evidence, locating witnesses, taking statements, and preparing memoranda as well as other legal documents.

Before pursuing her law degree, Amber graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Spanish from Spelman College. During her time at Spelman College, she was a member of Psi Chi, the Psychology National Honor Society; Alpha Lambda Delta, National Honor Society for First Year Students; and Golden Key International Honour Society. Amber also volunteered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America as a mentor as well as aided with after school homework and activities.

Ms. Burkett joined LCG in 2013 and is the Vice President, Co-Director of Private Investments. Her responsibilities include co-leading LCG’s private investments research as well as due diligence and collaborating with clients to implement their private investment allocations.

Prior to joining LCG, Catharine was a founding Co-Director of Alternative Investments for the Retirement Systems of the State of Georgia. In that capacity, she led and created the initial private equity investment infrastructure. Previously, Catharine was a Principal at Camden Partners, which she joined to build out Camden Private Capital as a diversified private equity fund of funds.

Before working at Camden, Catharine was Director of Private Investments at Spider Management Company, the University of Richmond, where she managed the University’s portfolio of investment funds for real assets as well as venture capital and private equity funds.

During the 1990′s, Catharine held positions at the Sherman Fairchild Foundation, The Overseas Private Investment Company, Duke University Management Company, CIT Equity Investments, and Rogers Casey & Associates (now Segal Rogerscasey). She started her career at The Hillman Company, Pittsburgh.

Catharine has a BA from Queens College, Charlotte, N.C. and an MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati, O.H. She has served on the Board of Advisors for a number of private equity and venture capital funds and is currently serving on the Board of Advisors for The Alliance Theatre.

Mr. Covey joined LCG in 2007 and is a Vice President, Senior Consultant and Co-Director of Private Investments. His consultant responsibilities include investment strategy development, manager due diligence, special research projects, and providing investment advice to clients. In his role as Co-Director of Private Investments, Taylor co-leads LCG’s private investments research as well as due diligence and collaborating with clients to implement their private investment allocations. He began his career at LCG as an Investment Analyst.

He is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) Charterholder. Taylor graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Finance where he was on the Dean’s List several times. He also received the Sigma Phi Epsilon Academic Scholarship multiple semesters.

Taylor resides in Atlanta with his wife Ashley and their sons Maverick and Ryder. They are involved with their church, Atlanta Christian Church, and they are active in their local community.

Mr. Huff joined LCG in 2006 and is Vice President, Manager Research, Senior Consultant. He directs the effort on sourcing investment strategies and conducting qualitative as well as quantitative manager due diligence. He covers traditional and alternative asset classes. Eric also assists with asset allocation modeling and capital market research. In addition, he leads several clients. Eric joined LCG as a Consultant.

Eric was previously with Hewitt Investment Group (now Aon) as a Senior Investment Analyst. He was responsible for providing investment education, conducting qualitative and quantitative due diligence with a focus on private real estate investments, and analyzing performance. Eric started his career as a Business Analyst for Hewitt.

He is a CFA Charterholder, and an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Atlanta. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) Charterholder.

Eric graduated from the University of Georgia (“UGA”) with a B.B.A. in Finance. He was on the Dean’s List several times. While at UGA, Eric was an active member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity and served as class Treasurer. Currently, Eric serves on the Board of UGA’s Student Managed Investment Fund. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family along with playing golf.

Peggy D. Madden >

Ms. Madden joined LCG in 1986 and has served in several capacities.  Currently, she is Vice President of Client Performance and Reporting. Along with another team member, Peggy manages a staff of Performance and Database Analysts.  One of her responsibilities is the management of the client portfolio accounting system, which includes development, implementation, and quality control of client performance as well as reporting procedures.

She also oversees the Product Data Request system (“PDR”), a separate account manager database and industry index database, where her responsibilities include coordination of the collection of monthly performance and characteristics from advisors and index data vendors.  Additionally, Peggy coordinates the Client Account Data Request (“CADR”) database where she oversees the collection of LCG client account quarterly performance and characteristics from LCG client advisors. Other positions Peggy has held at LCG include Supervisor of the Data Department, Manager Database Coordinator, and Performance Analyst.

Previously, Peggy served as Controller and Administrative Director for Automated Products, Inc.  In 1983, she became Regional Controller and Administrative Director for USF&G Financial Services, a joint venture of USF&G Corporation, prior to joining LCG.

Peggy earned a B.S. in Finance from the Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University.  She is an Atlanta native where she lives with her husband and their three sons.

Ms. Wizzard joined LCG in 2016 and is a Manager of Client Performance and Reporting.  Her responsibilities are oversight of the daily operations of the Client Performance and Reporting Department, which includes a team of Performance and Database Analysts.  The day-to-day operations involve the calculation of client performance, monitoring client reporting procedures, adhering to client reporting deadlines, quality control of client performance reporting standards, and any special projects related to performance measurement systems.   

Previously, Christine was a Senior Reporting Analyst II at Herndon Capital Management responsible for assisting with managing the client reporting as well as marketing materials production processes, serving as a liaison for clients, and training other reporting analysts.  While at Herndon, she also served as an Operations Manager II and Senior Operations Analyst.  Prior to Herndon, Christine worked at Madison Grey Holdings, LLC, Mizuho Trust & Banking Inc., TIAA-CREF Financial Services, Bank of New York and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Christine holds a Master of Science with a Concentration in Accounting from Long Island University and a B.B.A. in Finance/Accounting from Baruch University.

Ms. Booher joined LCG Associates in 2009 and is the Controller.  She is responsible for the accounting operations of the Company including establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.  Karin reports to the Chief Financial Officer.  She started with LCG as a Senior Accountant.

Before joining LCG, Karin was a Senior Accountant at Brand Properties. Her responsibilities included assisting with daily operational accounting functions, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, managing cash balances, and administering vendor set-up. Karin started her career at Faucett, Taylor & Associates, a certified public accounting firm, as a Senior Staff Auditor. In that role, she was responsible for performing audits, compilations and review for real estate, renting, and leasing companies.

Karin received her Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designation in 2013.  She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting.

Mr. Wilkinson joined LCG Associates in 1992. He is responsible for leading the architecture, development, implementation, and enhancement of LCG’s information technology to meet company objectives and goals. Scott’s duties include oversight of security and infrastructure as well as LCG’s proprietary administrative and investment analytics software systems. He is also in charge of LCG’s custom web initiatives.

In 1997, Scott joined Portfolio Management Consultants (“PMC”). In his role as Vice President of Investment Sales, he serviced the needs of registered investment advisors in the Southern region. During his time at PMC, Scott also worked as a Vice President and IT Project Manager responsible for enhancing their web-based offerings. In 2001, he rejoined LCG. Scott started his investment career at Adam Investment Services. Prior to that, he was a commercial pilot.

Scott was awarded the CFA Institute Investment Foundations™ certificate (2017). He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Programmer in Java and ColdFusion. Scott also has several Microsoft Certifications including MCSD, MCSA, MCSE, and MCDBA. He obtained a B.B.A. in Management from Kennesaw State University.

He graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Banking and Finance.  Mark was on the Dean’s list and received HOPE as well as Vocational scholarships.

While in college, Mark served as the Controller of Fletcher Motor Sports where he was responsible for managing the financial and accounting reporting activities.  He also was a Summer Associate at Robert W. Baird & Co.   His responsibilities included performing cost based analysis and portfolio comparisons as well as assisting the Certified Financial Planners with daily operations and projects.

Mr. Brumett joined LCG in 2014 and is a Consultant. His responsibilities include investment strategy development, manager due diligence, special research projects, and providing investment advice to clients. He began his career at LCG as an Investment Analyst.

Previously, Zach was an Investment Analyst at RVK, Inc. and was responsible for providing support in conducting asset allocation studies, structure studies, performance reports, and other projects as needed. He also led the Capital Markets Research and Alt Invest Task Forces in creating capital markets commentary and evaluating private equity managers, respectively.

Zach is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) Charterholder. Zach graduated summa cum laude from The University of Tennessee (“UT”) with a B.S. in Finance and served on the UT Young Alumni Council.

Mr. Carroll joined LCG in 2021 and is an Operational Due Diligence Analyst. His responsibilities at LCG include coordinating, preparing, and conducting initial as well as on-going operational due diligence reviews on alternative investment managers which includes performing operational due diligence meetings.

Before joining LCG, Ryan was a Staff Accountant – Fund Administration for Trident Trust. He was responsible for preparing monthly closes, monthly financial reports, and performance tear sheets. Ryan assisted investors in accessing reporting through the website and direct correspondence.

Ryan graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Administration in Finance. During his time at KSU, Ryan served as the Fundraising Chair for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, hosting annual philanthropy events.

Tony’s responsibilities include lead client relationships with family offices, investment platforms, corporations, endowments, and foundations. Additionally, he conducts capital market and asset class research as well as investment manager due diligence.

Previously, Tony was a Consultant within the Asset Consulting Group at Towers Perrin in Atlanta. There, he was responsible for investment management research, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment management organizations and investment related issues. Prior to that, Tony was a Consultant with Highland Associates in Birmingham, Alabama. He began his career with Smith Barney as an Analyst.

Tony received a B.S. degree in Finance from Birmingham Southern College. He is a CFA Charterholder. Additionally, Tony is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Atlanta. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

Mrs. Edwards joined LCG in 2013 and is an Operations Director. Her responsibilities include managing aspects of LCG’s OCIO services’ business and investment operations, administration functions along with manager and client implementations.

Prior to her current role, Inayah was an Operational Due Diligence Analyst, Investment Analyst and Performance Analyst.

Inayah holds an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.

Inayah graduated from Manhattanville College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Finance. She received the Ophir Academic Award and a Duchesne Scholarship for community service. Currently, Inayah is an active volunteer and leads a college ministry at Buckhead Church.

In addition to lead consultant responsibilities, she conducts capital market and asset class research, investment manager due diligence, and special topical studies.

Before solely focusing on client consulting, Katalin established and oversaw LCG’s Investment Analyst Program from 2004 to 2012 while working with a limited number of clients. She began her career at LCG as an Investment Analyst.

Katalin is CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. She is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (“CAIA”) Charterholder.

Katalin earned a B.S. in Finance at Canisius College (summa cum laude). She is also fluent in Hungarian.

While at KSU, David served as an Analyst on the Student Managed Investment Fund, helping conduct research, build financial models, and develop reports. Prior to this, David was a Remote Services Technician/Team Lead for Savant, CTS.

Mr. Emerson joined LCG Associates in 2003 and is a member of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee. David’s responsibilities include leading client relationships with utilities, family offices, endowments and foundations. Additionally, he conducts capital market and asset class research as well as investment manager due diligence.

David serves as LCG’s Practice Leader for Nuclear Decommissioning Trusts (NDTs) and as the team lead for ESG and SRI research. David actively participates in NDT conferences and industry groups and has helped refine LCG’s modeling capabilities in the ever-changing world of NDTs.

Prior to joining LCG, David worked for seven years in the investment consulting industry in a variety of roles from manager research to Consultant. David is a CFA Charterholder and is an active member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society Seattle. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Charterholder. David holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. He graduated from the University of Michigan with an A.B. in Political Science.

Mr. Evans joined LCG Associates in 1992. His responsibilities include developing and enhancing LCG’s proprietary analytics as well as maintaining and upgrading LCG’s computer systems with a focus on LCG’s client performance reporting systems.  He is also responsible for the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of LCG’s computers, servers, and networks.

In 1996, Andrew left LCG to work as an independent software development consultant.  In 1997, he returned to LCG in the position he currently holds.   Prior to LCG, Andrew was at Blackbaud, Inc. as a Software Developer working on donor tracking systems for non-profit organizations.  Andrew began his career at Southern Motor Carriers as a Software Developer.

Andrew earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Western Carolina University.  He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Janet, and their two children and enjoys playing tennis.

Mr. Falco joined LCG Associates in 1996. He is a member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Risk Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Benefits Committee.  His responsibilities include lead client relationships with foundations, endowments, family offices and corporations with both domestic and international representation.

Brian began his career with Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago and then entered the investment consulting industry with SEI Capital Resources, also in Chicago. Before joining LCG, Brian spent five years as a Consultant with Mercer Investment Consulting, Inc. in Dallas where his clients included public funds, foundations, endowments and corporations.

Brian holds a Master of Science in Finance from Northeastern University.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management from Clemson University and is an active member of the Clemson Alumni Association.  He also pursued graduate studies at Loyola University in Chicago.

Brian currently resides in Lucas, TX with his wife, Fran, and their three sons.

Rachel is a CFA Charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. She graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) with a B.S. in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and was on the Dean’s List. While at Georgia Tech, Rachel was a member of Omega Phi Alpha National Service Sorority and was the Service Director responsible for coordinating volunteer opportunities. She also was a member of the Chorale and studied abroad in France through Georgia Tech Lorraine.

She is a member of the High Museum of Art.

Prior to joining LCG, Allie was a Sales Consultant at Meltwater.

She graduated from the University of Georgia (“UGA”) with a B.B.A. in Marketing and a minor in Spanish. While at UGA, Allie was a Marketing and Sales Intern at the UGA Athletic Association. She also served as an Intern at LCG assisting with a variety of marketing projects and participating in manager due diligence meetings.

Currently, Allie is a member of the Terry College Young Alumni Board.

Mr. Freeman joined LCG in 1990.  He is a Senior Vice President and Principal in LCG’s Dallas, Texas office.  Scott is a member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Investment and Risk Management Committees.  He also consults to several of the firm’s largest clients including healthcare organizations, foundations, university endowments, and corporations.  In addition to lead consultant responsibilities, he serves as the Healthcare Team Leader and conducts capital market and manager research.

Scott has over thirty-six years of finance and investment experience, the past thirty-one with LCG.

Scott earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.  Scott and his wife, Cindy, have seven children.

Rowan A. Harmer >

Mr. Harmer joined LCG Associates in 2012 and is a Consultant.  His responsibilities include investment strategy development, manager due diligence, special research projects, and providing investment advice to clients.

Previously, Rowan was an Investment Officer at Cook Children’s Health Care System.  He was responsible for assisting the CIO with constructing, managing, and monitoring the endowment portfolio.  This included conducting extensive due diligence on a wide variety of asset classes, analyzing portfolio performance, and reporting the portfolio’s results to the Board of Trustees.

Mr. Kinney first joined LCG in 2011 as a contract employee to assist with a project.  Upon completion of the project, Brian left to become a Field Service Technician for Advanced Technology Services, where he worked exclusively with Caterpillar, Inc.  He rejoined LCG as a full time employee in 2014.  Brian is responsible for the efficient, secure, and reliable operations of LCG’s computers, servers and networks.

Brian began his career as an IT Support Analyst at Leapfrog Services.  He also started his own company, BK Network Solutions, which provided personal computer tune-ups; disaster recovery; network design, security, and implementation; and procuring as well as deploying new equipment.

Brian has an A.S. in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute.  Additionally, he is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate and has several other certifications, including Net+, Security+, and MCP.

Prior to joining LCG, Christopher served as Principal and Head of Vanguard’s Institutional Advisory Services, where he was responsible for leading, evolving and expanding the OCIO business. In this role his primary responsibilities included leading the client service teams, who provide asset allocation modeling, investment policy consulting, portfolio construction recommendations, and ongoing investment management to endowments, foundations, and defined benefit plans.

Before this role, Christopher was Regional Head of Institutional Asset Management, where he was responsible for leading a team of relationship managers for Vanguard’s Institutional Investment Only Services, focusing on DB, DC, nonprofit, and corporate assets. Christopher also worked in Vanguard’s Investment Strategy Group, creating and presenting investment thought leadership on various topics including behavioral finance, asset allocation and portfolio construction.

Zurdo graduated from Emory University’s (“Emory”) Goizueta Business School with a B.B.A. in Finance as well as Information Systems and Operations Management. While at Emory, he worked part-time as a Communication Facilitator assisting other students with communication and presentation skills. In his free time, Zurdo served as a Risk Manager for 787 Investing and was a member of the Goizueta Data Analytics Club. He also participated in Emory Club Soccer, Emory Greeks Go Green, and the Puerto Rico Student Association. Zurdo passed FINRA’s Securities Industry Essential Exam and has a Bloomberg Markets Concepts Certification.

During college, he was an Asset Management Risk Intern at Fidelity Investments responsible for creating a monitoring platform for the ESG ETF, generating reports on bond quantitative models, and analyzing errors in daily trading. Clients have included publicly traded corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and privately held companies of various sizes. Steve has consulted on topics including: retirement plan design, accounting issues, benefits administration, non-qualified retirement plans, and funding, including both minimum required and maximum deductible. Steve worked for 30 years at several major consulting firms, including over 20 years at Buck Consultants, where he was a Principal.     

He attained the designations of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and Enrolled Actuary. Steve obtained a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Mathematics from Xavier University. He consults with LCG on the design and administration of retirement plans as well as pension modeling.

Mr. Shope joined LCG Associates in 1987 and was Vice President of Quantitative Analysis. His responsibilities included researching investments; developing and enhancing LCG’s proprietary analytics; and maintaining and upgrading LCG’s computer systems. He also worked with LCG’s other department heads to create and automate new processes. Jared continues to consult with LCG on all of these issues. 

Prior to joining LCG, he was an officer at USF&G where he led the Management Information Systems department with a team of 50 programmers and analysts. Before working at USF&G, Jared was VP of Technology and a Principal at Automated Products, Inc. where he was part of the team that developed one of the first microcomputer-based systems for managing an independent insurance agency. The system exceeded $1 million in sales during its first year. Jared also worked in information technology at Agency Management Systems. 

Mr. Shope received a B.S. in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Atlanta. When not at work, Jared enjoys attending Georgia Tech athletic events with his wife, Jinny, and spending time with his two daughters and their families. Â
